CONSTANT FORCE PRODUCTS
is proud to announce the first MAJOR improvement in crimping dies
since the developement of metallic cartridges.
The significant features of our match grade crimp die include:
1. It uses gravity to apply the exact same force to crimp each
round which helps make 'bullet pull' more uniform and that improves
ammo accuracy.
2. Its design compensates for dimensional and hardness
differences of brass and bullets.
3. The force used can be measured, recorded, and
repeated exactly, months or years later.
4. It helps detect "odd" rounds which may become
FLYERS or even worse,
malfunctions.
5. The die disassembles quickly for easy cleaning with
no readjustment needed afterward. (The new Dillon dies are
built this way.)
Let's face it, no two casings or bullets are identical (if you don't believe it, measure a few with a micrometer).
Crimping them in a one piece crimp die results in a different crimp on each
round. The worse the brass and bullets, the more the crimps will vary. Those
varying crimps cause different pressures and different sets of vibrations
throughout the firearm (including the muzzle). That all happens before the bullet ever
leaves the barrel and it causes part of your group dispersion, and sometimes even
FLYERS. Our new constant force crimp die
solves this problem.
Interested? Want smaller groups? Goose your mouse on the navigation
bars on the left or the following links for greater details, etc:
1. Sounds like I might want one, show me some
CAD drawings of
it. (36050 bytes)
2. Looks unusual, can you show me a
scanned picture
of it in operation? I like to see what I'm getting! (45013 bytes)
3. I like boring,
technical details,
show me a write up on it. (Its not so bad!)
4. Dirty Harry said you have to know your
limitations.
What are this product's limitations?
5. I would like to see some
test data.
6. Just which calibers are
available and
how much are they?
7. I think I know what I saw and I think I want one! How do I
place an order?
8. Are these dies available in gun stores? Show me a list of your
dealers.
9. I still have some questions, how do I
email Constant Force Products?
10. Who the heck
thought up this stuff anyway?
11. I'll bet you have some
other data
for reloaders that might be interesting.
12. I would like to visit some other reloading & shooting
related web sites
that you recommend.
13. Still have questions? Please feel free to email me or give me a call at 310-641-1430, I have
about 45 years of very competitive shooting experience and would be happy to answer any
questions you may have in the fields of rifle & pistol competition, and handloading for
both of them. Best of all, if I don't know the answer I'll tell you so! (in that case
the answer will be duh?) Or just email me using the above link. If you are a new
shooter I am particularly interested in helping you because you are the future of shooting!.
